Hello! I'm Kylie Stires, I am passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. Currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, I bring hands-on classroom experience and a strong commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those who are neurodivergent.
About Me
I was born in Texas and grew up in Florida, and today I am married with two wonderful children, ages 7 and 4. My personal life has given me meaningful experience in understanding and supporting ADHD, autistic, and neurodivergent children, which has deepened my commitment to inclusive education. Through parenting and classroom experiences, I’ve discovered a true passion for teaching, one that drives me to create welcoming, supportive environments where every child can thrive. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and caring for my cats, which keeps me grounded and balanced as I pursue this calling.

My Teaching Philosophy
I believe in providing both consequences for misbehavior and addressing the root of the problem through meaningful connection with students. I strive to involve students in creating solutions to prevent future misbehavior, fostering responsibility and collaboration in the classroom. By guiding students to reflect on their choices and encouraging them to take ownership of their actions, I help build a sense of accountability and respect. My goal is to create a positive classroom culture where mistakes become opportunities for growth, and every child feels supported in learning how to make better decisions moving forward.
